Permashield® is engineered with a proprietary blend of vulcanized rubber and DuPont™ Kevlar® fibers. This advanced formula creates a self-sealing layer inside the tire that instantly fills and hardens into a permanent, flexible plug for punctures up to 1/4 inch (6.35 mm). The remaining sealant retains its initial viscosity, continuing to balance the tire and providing protection against future punctures.
